Layout changes
« on: April 02, 2012, 04:52:13 PM »
I will be working on some layout format changes on the boards over the next couple days. I have eliminated the left sidebar and widened the right sidebar a bit to clean things up. The newest posts will be featured on top of the board, which I am not so sure on. Any feedback to the changes is very welcome.

I will give it a couple days then give an honest opinion, it takes a little while to get used to changes so we will see.

I am not hating it..

I wasnt sure but I am starting to actually like it.
I hunt sheep to see over the next mountain not to measure the next trophy!

Not a fan of all of the stuff at the top of the page at all.  My 2 cents

I have mixed feelings on that too Nube. On one hand its handy to see the newest posts right away and on the other hand it seems to distract from the whole forum concept. I may move it to the bottom or to the side, or just remove it completely. Personally I check the newest posts first, but if there is a lot of activity some stuff may get missed by not looking at the specific sections. Anyway any and all feedback is welcome I am just sort of playing around with ideas right now.

I already know there are new posts when I log in as the headings have the red dot if there is a new post made.  That is what I go by when I click onto the site.  I never look at the side bar or at the top to see what is posted for a new thread.

I like the "show unread posts first" button. It saves you from sorting through older posts that you may have already read.
Looking good!

I like that as well but it is blocking a bunch on my PC.

What wildmeat said best viewed at a minimum of 1280 x 1024 or whatever the standard resolution is these days. I am 1680 x 1050 I think with a widescreen monitor so no issues.
