So after writing a letter to the public safety minister complaining about how it is unconstitutional for the RCMP to create firearm laws because those enforcing the laws should not have the authority to create them this is the response I got back, figures, sniveller.

1. What qualifies anyone from the RCMP to classify anything? Are they somehow trained to distinguish weapons? The act already determines that. They have already ****ed it up with the banning of 10/22 magazines. The Government never made that decision.

2. Those willing to commit crimes with firearms don't give a shit about the rules.

The RCMP deciding the law is completely unconstitutional end of story.

Well that is an admission that the laws are nebulous and the RCMP have to struggle inappropriately to interpret these laws.
It is also somewhat contradictory saying they are putting decision making into the hands of the police and at the same time saying they must follow the principles and criteria set out in the written law.
So which is it Goodale? The RCMP have proven with the 10/22 magazines that they are incapable of logical decisions, they need a map (the law).  They key point is though that police are NOT lawmakers, far from it.

This liberal clown is out to lunch.  He proved that this weekend in Emerson, Manitoba when he said he checked with the United Nations law about illegal migrants walking over our borders and it was lawful.  He doesn't know that it is the government of Canada's job to make the law.  Since when did the UN make law about protecting our borders.

As long as we have the shinny pony and the Royal Liberal Party in office, we will follow the UN long before applying any Canadian law. And who is going to stop them? The RCMP are their, political party police, and in return are given the freedom to make law as they deem fit.  And the CBC is their voice  to brain wash the masses. Also Canadian's are pretty busy with getting more "gigs" and watching some guy date 20 girls. I talked to a handful of people about the Manitoba incident and they had no idea what was going on. The good news is "The Bachelor" program had 6 million Canadian viewers last night. Go Canada   .
