Looking for feedback
« on: September 16, 2016, 01:19:46 PM »
So I have built quite a few high end ice shacks for guys and am looking at those drop down wheeled units. I think I can get them to probably the 13-14k range with rear doors to load a quad in the back. These units are popular in the US. The biggest issue is deep snow but there are drive in skids available. Just wondering how you guys think these might sell if they were Canadian built?

These are very nice units that you have built Paul first class all the way. Drop down axles as far as I'm concerned is the only way to go for an ice shack, not sure why anybody would want anything else.

As far as selling them, I guess it kind of depends where you plan on marketing it. I would be quite cautious trying to get these sold in Alberta these days, possibly down the road some but not now. I could see possibly Ontario being a market but not sure if it's worth trying to market them over there.

I guess a guy could always have a couple axle systems on hand and just build them on a pre order built to suit operation.

Agreed markets tough but some guys are still spending, had an ice shack order this morning actually. Think the best plan would be to try find dealers for them across Canada.
