medical marijuana
« on: April 21, 2016, 03:13:56 PM »
i was wondering about medical  marijuana for pain eg. cancer pain. Is there any overlap from being pain free or does the pain just go away when you are stoned. if there was a good overlap from when you are stoned to a period of time later on that you are not stoned but still pain free then I could see this as a good thing. Some guys on pain killing drugs could give their systems a rest from the side effects of drugs.

i have heard (no facts to back me) that it is very effective for that. I'm not fan of it being legalized, but maybe as a prescription it might be a good thing?

It's the other half of us he's looking for now Sonny, we can't give Isis a big warm hug when they come after us, if half of us want to fight. So you and me need to jump on board Man, start feeling grovey and get the peace flowers, dude, man, word. (to old to know the talk  but, I thing those are the right words.)

I say let them smoke all they want. It will just make it that much easier for people that are energetic and on the ball to get ahead. The stoners well, we will always need someone to swing the pick and shovel.

I have several thoughts on this but because of the 60s and 70 s I am unable
To formulate coherent thought . I believe it is quite efficient at quelling treatment
Related nausea . That makes sense , always gave me the munchies .
As far as pain goes I have my doubts that it is as effective as certain drugs we have

When my mom was dying of cancer my niece made her some pot brownies. Didn't help much, mom ended up out of her mind on morphine the last 4 weeks of her life. I honestly don't care either way I don't smoke it, have some buddies who do, it's not that harmless overall. Legalize it and tax it.

What your thoughts guys. If someone had, say four whiskey everyday, or someone smoked four joints everyday, would he be more harmful to society or themselves after 5 years. Just a thought regarding  legal booze and illegal pot.

Used for medical reasons I don't have an issue with it heck smoke it if you want at this day and age I beleive its a waste of resources and money to have it illegal. People always compare it to alcohol and one really can't. Yes abused both are bad I would say alchohol even more so but,, the thing with alchohol one can sociably have a drink. You can go for lunch and have a beer or a glass of wine. You can relax at supper with your family and have a glass of wine and not be out of it or stoned. One can't do this with pot You are either stoned or your not. You smoke a joint or puff a bong full your stoned and that's that. Who wants his employees going out at lunch and getting, stoned at lunch then coming back to work.

Good point, guess there is not such a thing as a social smoke, or toke. Also, I consider a good wine or fine scotch more of a food then alcohol.
