As of Jan. 1, no more incandescent bulbs for sale.

I stocked up on good old incandescent bulbs this week.
Good luck with CFL's or even CCFL's in cold weather operation. Think about that with outside motion lights and such.
Also be aware that most CFL and LED replacements will not work with conventional dimmers.
I wonder about a replacement for tri-lite lamp bulbs too.

It is the Government's Economic Action Plan. Got to keep the economy going some how.....
.
Also, be very aware that CFLs can be very dangerous and cause fires when they fail. Check Youtube for some spectacular examples. Choose LED options where you can.
CFL = Chinese Fire Lights

Won't the dry wallers love this, ever try to sand a wall with the Ee lights. Led will be worse. Just stupid, what about rough service bulbs?

It's my understanding that retailers will be able to sell 60w bulbs until Dec. 31. Guess they figured they'd phase out 100's, and then 60's; you know, getting everyone used to sitting in the dark slowly.
