mountain campsite between jasper and kootenay plains??

Hey everyone!!!
i'm planning to take my wife and 4 yr old boy out for some camping in the mountains in august.
we will be in a tent.
looking for a pretty spot that has lots of cool sights and activities.
trying to show the family a fun alberta rockies outting!!!
any leads for me???

Some nice country along that David Thompson highway, Crescent Falls is a nice scenic stop, David Thompson resort not far away.

Well if you want fun in the Alberta Rockies then the Icefield Parkway should be on your list.

it's not normal planning a mountain trip that's NOT solely fishing themed.....
