Been checking local and nooa radar;  don't think we'll have to batten down the hatches here, fingers crossed.

Rain started here west of Caroline in the early AM and has rained the better part of the day. Crowding and inch of rain or so here at the house. Starting to get foggy now.

Heavy rain fall warning in effect around GC looks like It'll be wet for the rest of the week. To bad I was hoping to get out and do some fishing on the creeks next weekend.

Turned out to be a gorgeous afternoon/evening here, but there's watches and warnings for the area around Leth/SW of there.  Just checked Strathmore radar.  Looks pretty intense in places.

Got so nice here, wife and I fished one of the local lakes and ate jelly beans   ;D

Anyone affected by the tornadoes last night?

From what I hear there was one 10K N of Bow Island, a couple just SE of Taber and another at Brooks.

Radar definitely looked nasty.  Here we got lucky, just brushed the edge, and from what was here I'm sure glad we weren't more in the storms path.

Keeps up like this, might have to dig a root cellar.  Heck of a lightning show though, and the thunder shook the dust out of everything.

Rain has yet to slow up around here. With a few inches already and more falling she could get a bit hairy with the rivers. This rain will be lifting the rivers but will be bringing the snow out of the mountains as well so im expecting the rivers to be on the rise around here in the next few days. Looked like a good amount of snow left to come out so may not be good!

We had one hell of a light show in the wee hours in Red Deer. Wife woke me up and told me we were going to have a tornado  ::)
