My daughter's sage wisdom!!!!
« on: July 31, 2016, 02:08:37 PM »
My daughter's words this morning. It brought tears to my old eyes when I read it. My wife and I have been dealing with this dreaded crap for nigh on two years. Rather eloquent words and good attitude from a terminal patient, to say the least!! Life goes on, because the world will not stop for any of us to step off at the final stop.

Marg & I appreciate thoughts and kind words!!  The many days & nights spent in Edmonton while Cath received treatment, and now daytrips for scans at the Cross, sure have kicked the crap out of our planned retirement, to say the least.

I found the young ladies' post to be an educating, honest, and insightful rendition of her life experiences.

This is not unexpected given that the "apple does not fall far from the tree".  My congratulations to mom and dad for raising such a wonderful lady.  What is even better is how this family sticks together. Life really is not all that important without family.

I would like to extend my prayers, and best wishes to this family during this period of pain.

Thanks for the post.
