Sonny how high up is your stand. Looks to be quite high? Don't you fall you ole fart....lol (kidding)

I found some great plans online for a homemade stand. Only one tree required and the cost is minimal. I'm getting too old to climb trees too but if I keep at 12' maybe I won't do too much damage if I fall out....  :-\
I think I'll build the box stand and add camo bulap to the top like in the picture.

Ya they are nice stands and cheap to build. I'm going to build one but will modify it some to make simplier. Will use treated OSB on the floor instead of 2x4's, maybe drill a few holes here and there to let the water drain off.
Was also thinking of making it a littler bigger, 4x4 incase I decide to frame it in some day and put a little propane heater in there. I'll be hunting moose out of it in late Novemeber so it could be a little chilly.

Nice stand Sonny. It looks a lot sturdier than the death traps I use to build.

Thanks for posting your plans Tuc. I think I may have a spring project in the works.

Hi Tuc , I built a couple of box blinds from the plans you posted up. I also have an elevated stand ready to put up and the materials for a 3 or 4 ladder stands as well. It's gonna be a busy summer, thanks for posting up the site.

Still have to put some windows in this one

Nice stand DW.

I built the elevated one and it's back there ready to put up.
