oooooooh ouch. I can only imagine how that accident will rollout with claims. Maybe you can answer this for me.....if there's 100 vehicles who all rear ended each other. Is it always the person behind following at fault for not leaving a greater following distance? How do they assign "blame" for wrecks of such calibre sporthunting? Or do they create a blanket case # for a big wreck like this? I've always wondered......sorry. Good luck to you though!!!

A little more complicated than that.  If only two vehicle's are involved that you are correct the vehicle at the rear is at fault.  Now with 100 vehicles involdved it becomes a bit more complicated if the companies are part of the fault chart.  Have a look at part 9 of this it will give you an idea http://www.insurancehotline.com/at-fault-rules/.  Thank god I mainly do property claims now and just have to deal with the colapsed buildings and such.

Let's hope the weather forcast holds true. Sunny for the next 7 days . My buddy has theory for spring mushroom picking and seems to believe the deeper the snow pack makes for a bumper crop of morels. We'll find out at the end of may.
