I just received an email for the long awaited delivery of my new Labrador Retriever. I have first selection of a yellow Male. The Sire is a handsome Fox Red yellow and hope to end up with one that looks and performs just like Dad! Here's a couple of photos thus far:

And the new digs I've been working on the last couple of weeks:

I can't wait until the August delivery.

BTW this litter has two extra black males to anyone interested (the Stoney X Daisy litter):

These are the three choices that I have to choose from in the next week:

I like them in the order posted but unfortunately, because of distance, will never get to interact with them prior to delivery. Next week I will get video and I've been communicating interactively with the breeder to try to evaluate my wish list and solidify the best choice. Delivery in three weeks!!

I like the soft-looking eyes of the pup in the second pic. Just to insure that you make the right choice,buy all 3! I'm sure they're only about 50 bucks each, right? LOL!

I love looking at puppy pics! I must be getting soft in my old age! ( I know, I left myself vulnerable to Viagra jokes but that's OK!)

Picked up my friend on Tuesday. Lots of attention required for sure. The crate training is in full force and the adventures to experience all the things he needs exposure to for a well balanced pup:

Now that's cool! I've had two black labs. I'd put my old girl up against any retriever out there. My new lab is the worlds worst retriever, but one of the most obedient, gentle dogs I've ever seen. My daughter used her as a project in canine 4H last year and cleaned up on prizes for agility and obedience.

Gotta love labs. I'd like to have a pointing lab one day.
