National Lacrosse League

Does anyone here follow the NLL? Our family does!!

We were at the Calgary Roughnecks game last night at the Saddlefome. Unfortunately, Calgary lost to Colorado. The 'Necks had it in the bag, but in the last 90 seconds, the defense fell apart and two quick goals tied it up. Game lost in OT.

Valiant effort Roughnecks!!! What a game!!!

Can't say as I follow it at all Doug but a couple years ago we took the boys to a game in Edmonton,, it was a lot of fun. They do a lot to keep the people involved in the game. Very enjoyable..

Used to follow NLL when my son was playing Bantam Lacrosse. Lost touch since then but loved the game. Going to the Roughnecks was cheap to, like $20 or $25 . Its a great game Doug.

I used to follow it religiously and go to all the games, I haven't watched as closely the last couple years though.  Two little kids at home.

I played a lot of lacrosse when I was younger and my knees still worked, I even played with a couple guys that went on to the NLL.  I can't play much now, but I'm still a huge lacrosse fan.

It's a great game.

Go Roughnecks!

Looks like do too to many cuncusions my youngest has to leave football, he finnished his 5th year in ball (grade10) and couldn't finnish the season do to his 3rd and worst one of the year..

He is looking at getting started in lacrosse and has picked up some gear and has been practicing with some friends from school getting ready for the upcoming season starts in Feb sometime I beleive.. I am not sure if this game will be any easier on the brain but we will see. The kid is an extreme athlete in what ever he does and is a natural at most sports it seems, i hope this will work out for him. If it does I am sure we will be heading to a few pro games and getting into the scene.

We were at the game in Edmonton last Saturday. Calgary was in Edmonton. Another GREAT game. Calgary won 18-15.

Both venues (Rexall and the Saddledome) are great, but there is way more energy in the dome.
