New to Alberta
« on: May 30, 2011, 09:10:38 PM »
Hey all, I moved to Alberta last fall. Haven't been out fishing yet, and am wondering some good spots in the foothills. I live in Turner Valley, and have heard the fishing isn't the best in the Sheep. I have fished the North Saskatchewan back home for a long time..

welcome to AS and the foothills. there's great fishing in the sheep right out your back door, and all the mountain streams within an hour or so of TV. everything opens up June 16th. shoot me a message next month once the rivers settle down and clean up and i'll take you out for a day.

Welcome to AS.....You are in some fine country there. Go out west of Turner and you will find yourself in God's country. Fishing , camping, hiking, you name it, Kananaskis has it all...........

I frequent that area for many years when I first came to Alberta. You will not be disappointed!  :)
