I think this is kind of extreme, as I'm not sure how many fires are actualy started by ATV's maybe goofs throwing there cig butts in the grass but ATV's not sure.

Alberta is a big place.  A province wide ban on any activity is a little extreme in my opinion.

It will, I have seen glowing embers drop off the exhaust near the cylinder head.  Always conscious of that if going into muskeg or grass.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

I have a quad and like quadding but I have to say it was sure nice walking around the Atlas staging area on the weekend without the roar, dust and stink of those machines.  I myself think they should ban quadding during spring break up.
