Well i just read the thread on "What Would You Do" and see that Justin has locked it. Wasnt really seeing that terrible of stuff happening that required it to be closed other than a couple guys had negative comments towards the OP. To me that thread had some potential to cover some good topics on people actions and such on forums.

Anyways I guess the part that bugs me the most is are we now going the way of locking a bunch of threads? I havent seen where there were a bunch of moderators picked for deciding whats right and wrong just a couple guys asked to help out in the buy and sell! Maybe its just me but I had a huge flash back of many threads and its wasnt a good one!!!

Guess thats my rant and if its out of line I guess it can be erased or locked!!!!!!

Ya I realize that but for what real reason. Are we just locking threads now is what im getting at. Here we all like this forum because we can be open and talk about we wish. That right there drug this back a step into the old days.

So can I go back and lock all my threads if after I started them they didnt go how I wanted or agree with something said in it?

Wow.....and people accused ME of being a trouble maker? That's rich. Obviously there are people who are unstable enough, immature enough and so insecure that they resort to actually going out and challenging or accepting challenges to a physical fight? What are they, 12?!
Why even discuss such childish behavior in here? Nothing good will come of it.

no you do have a valid point and i am the one who mentioned we can lock our own threads... it just seemed like another one of them threads that get out of hand and noone even comes to terms... then theres this group and that group that hate each other... then it becomes like the other site where there is a team of guys (the holy elite) that cant be touched or argued with or the other person is totally frowned upon by the rest... idk... maybe im wrong

Your right Justin If I dont like it to bad. But I totally disagree with the locking of threads. Always have and always will unless people are being obnoxious or stuff like that. For one when you started it im sure you had a slight idea where it was going to go. But honestly did it get out of hand? Who was brought up that really made it need to be closed? Funny thing is there will be many guys that bitched about moderation and locking of threads that will be doing just that as we have seen already here!! If guys dont want a thread delt with dont start it and if you are going to start a thread be sure to think it through before starting it in the first place. When you talk about things such as was mentioned in this that thread some people will be discussed and always will! Sorry just seen part of the old times that I really hoped we wouldnt see here wether it be by moderator or the OP.

you seen things happening like the old site by the thread being locked... i see things happening like the old site where there is arguing to no point and then the thread gets locked anyway... what out weighs what here and what is the quicker solution... i can see 3 or 4 guys absolutely hating each other from that thread and actually wanting to go to each others houses to fight... which was the topic of the thread in the first place... idk i just hate to see the boys arguing... a little debate is healthy and natural but when names start being mentioned and there is no possible middle ground.. i too would lock my own thread

Just for your info Justin your pal bambi was the first to bring up a name. It was an AO members name but no different than what Buff did. And hey all they said was mention screen names. Does that mean any thread with a mention of a name should be closed? Anyways Ill drop it as it seems that you are offended but hey in your words "to bad"! LOL anyways lock away boys!

I'm glad you started this thread, SG. At least this time the OP won't "lock up" when under some pressure.

It seems pretty silly to allow the OP to lock threads. That should be at a moderator's discretion.

Since it was brought up, Yes I named a name, and I will again. It is utterly rediculous that someone would actually go to person's place of business and threaten to start a physical fight because of an internet tiff. Bambi has lost all possible respect from me, and I have no issue in stating it. What he did was childish, and stupid. If Bambi were to give a public apology, then at least I could consider giving him some measure of respect in the future.

I used to enjoy private messages with Bambi. My calling him out is not based on any personal grudge and comes with the loss of an internet friend. That's a price I am comfortable with as I would act in the same way to anyone else who would do something similar to what Bambi did. When people cross a line, I say piss off.

i will say enough to confirm that i was involved in something. what that something was involves two people and thats it. i have no intention of trying to publicly humiliate someone and still will not throw out the other name. as for what exactly went on, i wont be discussing that either, but i will say that there are some pretty wild things being said that just arent how it was. for some people to be jumping to conclusions about something they know absolutely nothing about is laughable. you especially walking buff. i sent you a pm before i saw this, and so excuse me as its about word for word.....BUT....of all people you are one to get your facts straight before posting. you have failed miserable here.

a pretty well non issue is being made out to be a lot bigger than it is.

Well to Justin and Dale, when moving forward maybe since you are buddies you should discuss things a bit and if you don't want it brought up or discussed in a thread... Don't start the thread!! If it's stuff you wish to keep to yourself dont feed any info what so ever because once you get guys interested they are going to dig for names and info. Youtwo with all the confrontations you have been involved in should know this stuff!

ill agree with the first part darcy, but this highlighted portion is again untrue. i have met a bunch of guys from a bunch of forums and it has always been quite friendly. im pretty sure thats a trend that will continue.

There's another site I don't go on because I don't argue with children and they don't pay to babysit. Please don't drag childish attitudes and mindless, ignorant bickering here.

That'll be my only input to any of this, and if it continues this'll likely be my last post here, for the same reason.
