Off Grid Expedition trailers
« on: April 12, 2015, 09:28:37 AM »
I make these trailers in my spare time and think you will find them interesting.. build time depends on what you require.!,are you tired of camping next to everyone, go where you want to go, with 31-35" tires and thick aluminum outter skin, feel safe in bear country. roof top tent not included, but available only one front storage bin. More Extra's can be added for extra cost. Feel free to give me a call and come see it.Propane furnace , tankless hotwater heater. sink and stove.CNC laser cut 3/16th aluminum outter skin and cnc aluminum bent cabin frame and includes spray foamed walls. if interested email, great for pulling behind a jeep or 4x4 and getting away from everything. I can also custom add or delete things you want. Will be offering these for rent if you would be interested in that. If you would like one not so "offroad" I can change the suspension and tires to match your ride height. Can also make you a custom trailer like a m416 or make one to your plans. If you have searched for a similar trailer you know what they are worth and what I include far exceeds what everyone else includes. 19000$ I also have a small page if you would like to follow along on my builds you can follow my page.... Off Grid trailers.

Looks interesting off grid, very nice, I have a trailer manufacturing company as well. Couple questions.

What is the height from the main rails to the ground?

Does it have a national safety mark?

Are they Intertek or QEI certified under CSA Z240?

I am in the process of getting them QEI cert.. thats just a huge money grab that is... inspections 2 times a year... someone could build a hundred units by the next time a inspection comes.

Indeed it is, but it's a CYA thing, they accept liability for your design.

I dont have a stamp.. never knew I needed one as a hobbyist.... but reading up on it now, do i only need one if I ship out of the province?  and it looks like I need to include a few more lights.

If it's on a public road it needs a stamp.

Moving this to general discussion just for the cool factor of it, would like to see some serious feedback on these guys.
