I would think a 200 plus ram would make most sheep hunters pretty darn happy :D

Ya well don't forget about the pyra family.  Money and being a lawyer abuseing the system.  Came up with a few 200" rams. A couple are not in your list do to funny business.

A good number of 200" rams arent on the list as I know of 5 that were taken legally but arent entered and at least 3 taken illegally that arent as well. Not here to accuse people of poaching though just posted this up to see some great rams.

And yes a 200" ram will make alot of people happy Paul. But id sure like to see Guinn's total expenses for all his bighorns!!!

Kinda interesting how many of the Bighorn records are relatively recent and the Stone's sheep are fairly old.

Alot of areas are way down in quality for Stones. Back in the days that many big rams were taken there was very minimal resident pressure and outfitters offered alot longer hunts(in most cases close to twice as long) and traveled alot more country.

As for the bighorns the opening of some new seasons hasnt hurt the chance of a record book head as well as  the starting of new herds in a few areas such as Montana with limited hunting.

LOL, I remember following the thread and reading the court report on another hunting forum a few years back about the above mentioned. What was both funny and really sad was how S.G.'s Nemesis stuck up for those poaching losers.

What's the whole story?  I think I have heard it before but I forget all the details.  Also what ever happened with the story of the ram that got shot on the mine a few years back.  I never heard the end result?

It would be interesting to measure the current record bighorn in 40 years to see if it will drop that 2/8 that it beats the Weiller ram by.

Plus the Weiller ram has a way better story.
