Price Of Gas.
« on: February 15, 2016, 06:54:00 PM »
It's crazy the difference in the price of fuel these days. Been working in northe east BC the last few months and on my way home today I sure took notice of the price of gas difference between there and home.

Filled up in Chetwynd this morning at the Chevron, 98.9/l. Next fill up was in Slave Lake, 69.9/l wife gased up in Cold Lake today 66.9/l. Crazy how much more it is in BC. We travel there a lot in the summer but I don't think there has ever been that big of difference between the two places,, maybe I just never took notice before I don't know.

Price went up 20 cents today in Edmonton.   57.9 to 77.9 at lots of places.
That is a 34.5% increase!

I filled up everything on the weekend including all of my jerry cans with a Safeway 6 cent off coupon.  Paid 51.9
It will trend back down in a matter of days.

BC has their carbon and HST taxes on so the Chetwynd price is not surprising.
