I must say this is the first time I've seen it for moose.

I love the composition of the bright yellow of canola. Here is another of my canola favourites:

I know that there are way better cameras out there but I'm happy with it.

btw.the above deer was about 60 yards out so the zoom really was nice to have.

Walmart has them on for $428.

Skinny, great picture of the moose. There are some real big ones where I bird hunt. See a 50-60" every year out there. Not too many places for them to hide and I am amazed I don't see them more often on the prairies.
Yup , I have to hurry up and grab the camera soon.

With all the dragonflys out the last few days, I had a few that did cooperate for the camera.

Nice work Chris, I have been capitalizing on them as well but not finding quite as many varieties as you have. They are an incredible hunting machine.

These were all in my yard. The blue and green one was the biggest one I saw, and I wish I could og gotten way more pictures of it at different angles, but I got off three quick pics, and he flew off for good. They were picking mosquites right out of the air, and if I would sit still near plants and bushes and wait for them to come by, they would land right by me to eat their prey or take a quick break from hunting.

Some more Waterton pics

I posted earlier what camera Not to buy for outdoor and wildlife photography - the Canon PowerShot SX130 - the reason was the LCD for framing shortens the battery life...Well I took this picture and the batteries (AA) in my PowerShot SX130 died...While I was scrambling to change them, this cow buffalo walked up to my window and had a look at us...She was so close that I could have touched her!...I had put fresh batteries in earlier that morning and had taken around 70 photos before they died...

I don;t know as much about cameras as you do but I have the sx30is not the 130 and mine doesn't take AA batteries.I t comes with a rechargable one,seems to work good for me but then I don't take as many pics as you do.
Anyhoo,to each thier own I guess and I'm happy with mine.
