Was out for a run on the Sulfer Rim trail near Grande cache with my camera and the dogs.

Might have to change the name on the sign

Some one has a little to much time on their hands

Jake's having a snack on the trail

I'd check out that area for sheds but I don't really want to get a body cavity search

Lol,, those pups look pretty happy Dark Wing.. I like that first pic,, their just like,,, What ?? Whats the problem,, lol..

Just a note,, in the one pic your pup is eating on an old deer leg. I am sure its no big deal but we had a dog a few years back,, a big old Chessy tough as nails outside country dog. Used to grab deer amd moose legs from around the country and had his own stash. One day I noticed he wasn't himself and after another day he was sick. We took him in and after a long trip to Edmonton to a vet that could actualy figure it out, He had an infection in his mouth that he got from eating old animal bones. The vet figured he cut himself on the gums with a sharp bone and thats where it started. Another day or two and we would have lost him.. We watch our outside dog now,, any old legs around I get rid of them.. Just something you may want to be aware of,, your pups lok like pretty content family members..

Thanks for the heads up walleyes. The dogs get into some pretty grose stuff and I try my best to keep them out of it. The deer leg looked pretty fresh and Jake didn't spend a whole lot of time chewing on it. Judging by the tracks in the area the leg was from a cougar kill although I did see a wolf track a few days later.

He has a face like a catcher's mitt. When people see him they say he looks like Winston Churchill.He is loyal and a good guard dog.Wish he was a bird dog but he is what he is.I got him because he was a rescue and was going to be put down.We are trying to work on his issues and having some success,my daughter loves him so we will do the best we can for him.
