Tri creeks area not far from Cadomin..

Nice firewood in the background.. ;)

I did some fishing in the tri creeks some years ago.  The fisheries bio doing a study there had a BIG dog that kept him and is 12 gage company when out in the bush.

When did you fish the tri creeks?

Wow Sonny, that Hinton sunset shot is absolutely AMAZING. The colours! The shapes! Insane. Thanks for sharing. Ps nice baby pic ya silly nut LOL! Very sad about the car crashes....that Hwy sure does need to be twinned :( too many beautiful lives lost on those dangerous roads.

My mom sent this pic from behind her condo in NW Calgary. Such a tease, but glad she shared it!

I believe it was about 1980.  I was helping the Bio do electro fishing in his study area and then we did some fly fishing in the Mc Leod at a creek mouth pool.

We were out @ Lousie and staying in Banff when we saw that massive herd along the Hwy. Someone else got this pic of them which was better than any I took. At least the money for the game crossings is being utilized the way it should be!

This was right at the base of Canada Olympic Park in YYC. I haven't ever known for sure if this cat is a cougar? Bobcat? Maybe a lynx? I can't really tell. It hopped in the bush when I got closer. She looked about 4' long....sorry the quality isn't great. But can anyone tell me what this cat is?

It looks like a Cougar kitten. If it was four feet long, there would be no doubt it is a lion.

Ahh ok then that makes sence because I was going to say that fishing in Teepee,Eunice and Deerlick creeks hasn't been allowed for many many years.

Muskiki Lake just off hi-way 40 south of  Hinton its where i called the wolf in to my truck(2 days) and where i had the 6 man tent set up with the green tarp(5 days camp) in other picture its beautiful there with the Ospreys and Loons fishing right in front of you.. its alittle remote for some but perfect for me .. when the wolf pic was taken i caught and released 23 Cutthroats when i was camped there last year by myself .. you would lov it .. the loon's get to show off when you call to them and even will follow you around abit.. you are only 1 hour drive from the Cardinal Divide which is undescribably beautiful..
