Huntress, they look like racoon tracks to me. Those little buggers have long toenails for grabbing onto food in tight places, like the nesting boxes you see on fencelines for the bluebirds. They actually have the Alberta bluebird numbers in danger and researchers are looking of making the boxes coon proof.

Was down in Calgary for 3 days of spring meetings, ran into this flock of snows on my way home just south of Viking. Geese as far as the eye could see.

When you're that hot you don't need a rod lol. The fish jump out of the water to be with them lol.

Guessing this wasn't your ice shack! Awesome.

Alberta_huntress, your old farm equipment pic reminded me that I have to get an old JD walking plow out of our back bush at the farm.
It is very old and has been there for many decades.  It will make a good driveway ornament.

Heck yeah Axeman that will make an awesome driveway ornament! I've got an old red truck box I'm going to use as a planter for my driveway :) can't wait!

As much as I hate poplars, they do grow like weeds (fast and furious) and make some cool pics for sure!
