Tried to catch a bull trout this morning but I didn't have any luck.

Oh well,it was still nice to be in the great outdoors.

Its that magical time of year again....calfing season!!!

This is Semi and her calf 'Goliath' lol. After 3 hrs of pushing when she laid down, they had to pull him out. She did great

And maude is the sheep, and this is her one and only lamb. Spring is so magical isn't it!? <3

Hope your ice melts sooner than later for you northern gents!

On a side note, its 27c outside my house right now....and I'm turning 30 today LOL. Making a nice Elk round marinated in red wine, garlic and clamato juice, with bay scallops and prawns, bernaise sauce, bacon & avocado cesar salad and cold crisp beer in the hot sun

My neighbour came by with eggs to make a lovely brekky this morning and 2 of the eggs were stil warm WARM from the chickens lol. I heard them pop those suckers out while I laid with all my windows open to hear the crickets, frogs, coyotes, and cows last night....what a gorgeous day for a birthday. Think later I might get the .22 out and shoot some gophers off the back deck and do some rodent control. Lol.

Speaking of rodent control and birthdays, my kitties left me a birthday present first thing this morning. Mmmm deer mouse on the kitchen floor lol.
