I set up a trail cam really close to a scrape and got a lot of pictures of the side or rear end of a deer passing by. But I also got a full frame pic of this buck working the scrape.

Stopped in at the library to drop off some books in Rocky and these guys were chilling out in the shade on the north side of the building. It is really hot and humid today and from what I hear mule deer are more stressed by hot summer weather than they are with -20 winter weather.

Ya the bird dog was in the water troff this morning as hot as is it is would this not be pretty minor compared to new mexico or some place? I have never Hurd that about mule deer but they do look

Trail cam surprise. Set out a trail cam where a good game trail goes down to and crosses a creek. In the past I got a nice picture of a bull moose crossing close to here. But this time I got a surprise.

I can take no credit for a "nice shot" as it was a trail cam set up to get a picture of a deer or moose. A "great" shot of a "great"blue heron was purely an accident.
