Finally got into Grizzly and Trapper Lakes this weekend. These two lakes are about 20 miles northwest of Shining Bank in the middle of some pretty remote country. They are renowned for possible trophy trout as well as being difficult to find. I can confirm that Trapper has some really nice trout but Grizzly was dead, but a beautiful little lake. Some tough quadding to get in there. There is an old leaky boat at Grizzly Lake. Trapper has a floating muskeg shore but there are logs and strips of plywood out to the edge which drops off like crazy. Deceivingly deep lake!
