Not sure about the ram but I would assume it would be the same situation as the bull.

I read on the moose a while back. Apparently it happened in northern BC someplace while they were running a new line. I forget whether or not the animal crossed just as they were hoisting it or it was tangled in it and they never checked before hoisting the line up. But either way I would assume the same story would apply to the ram.
