"Oh my that sure is nice"

Wifey said.."Ha you're to old for that"

I said "What are you talking about? I'll never be to old for a lever action"... ;D

Ahem....anyways..

Took the Swiss K31 to the range and holy smokes I got some tight groups for an old guy wearing bifocals and using iron sights.

Yup that GP 11 is pretty good ammo.

Drove home from Fort Mac yesterday after working a 12 hour nightshift...yes I was bagged when I got home.. :(

But today is a new day and let the good times roll.. ;D

Went to the range and had a blast...

K31 is still grouping at about 1.5 inches....with a cold barrel that is..

Longbranch with PPU 150 gr soft points is a sad six inch group...still take out a Nazi at 100 yards..lol

Marlin big bore..45-70 is not a rifle...dang thing is a Cannon..lol..but it is bang on at 100 yards and 9 inches low at 200 yards.

Marlin XT...what a pleasure to shoot this sweet little .17 hmr....puts a smile on my face everytme I hear the ..KeeRack of this little rimfire.Yes I always shoot this after the bigbore..lol...kinda soothing if you know what I mean..

So anyway that was my day and it was fun.. :)

Another day at the range...only took the Blackhawk and the Tok..

Meet a pleasant fellow and his daughter there who were shooting 22's,Great to see young ladies getting involved in the shooting sports.

She even shot my Blackhawk .45 long colt and didn't drop it...lol..good for her.. :D

The Tok....well what can I say...pew pew pew...yup lots of surplus ammo and I even hit the target a few times... ;D

It was a good day and Kudo's to the people who made the Hinton range what it is...love it.. ;)

Hey Sonny you can thank CJ's towing for bring out more chip board for the target holders. I will be repairing the uprights when I get back from fishing.

I was back out there this afternoon and seen the new boards up and said "wow..looks good"..yes sir a big thank you to CJ'S towing..:)

Are they just young guys? I ask because they may have been just packing up at the pistol range when we showed up..

Picked up a sporterized enfield from a buddy today and I can't believe what a great shooter it is.

Got a one inch group with 150gr PPU softpoints :o

The Winchester ammo couldn't keep up and the old Imperial 180gr KKSP is put away for safe keeping.. ;D

Old Imperial ammo is so right!!  Macleods price tag!    I remember those days.....
