Watched Hacksaw Ridge....thought I was going to fall asleep at first but...in the end it was not a bad movie.

It did start off slow, but was a good movie. I'm not much of a movie guy because they seem to be the same old crap. But I did enjoy this one.

Just rolled home this afternoon from a 3 week hitch. Cold for the weekend but next week looks good. Got a couple of those lakes we want to hit again this time out. Be the last chance for me until open water, man I can't wait been a while since I've been this anxious for open water. Then next weekend hit the sportsman show, go drool on some new toys lol. Warned momma it might not be a cheap trip to the show.

Long hitches walleyes, exploring the lakes again will be a nice break so you can unwind a bit. Haven't been to the Sportsmen show in years, might go this year depending how good the weather is. I'm ready to hit the bush again to. Seems these cold spells get longer as we age. I'm ready to have the warm sun on my back and lake water up to my knee's.

Yes I can't wait for open water. I'm usually in to ice fishing more but not this year. I'm getting at it but just cause I have too it's the only way to have some fish and well just getting out is nice but man I am anxious to cast a line this year.

I lost interest about 20 years ago. My wife and her family are hockey nuts (Oilers) so I hear the games from the living room when I'm in my man cave. I check out the odd replay and stuff, and I will watch a bit if the Oilers get pass the 3rd round, more to make my wife happy then my own interest though. Funny part is at one time I played a bit of competitive hockey,(I missed a lot of hunting seasons in my teens and early 20's

) and played when growing up, just lost the feel for it over the years. I guess it's the old been there done that, and spent way to much of my life chasing "the dream" without a hope of ever making it big.

Same with me, I lost interest too. I think the dirty deals that scum bag Katz made with our corrupt city council turned me off from the Oilers. Hard to support the load of millionaires these days.

Yah I lost interest since the last strike, bunch of spoiled rich brats on both sides, I don't need to give them my money. The CFL is my game, you have a bunch of players not in it for the money but the pure love of the game, very few of them make a full time living off of it, they are in it because their heart is in it.

Couple this with the new theme for the oilers,, Orange Crush, yah that socialist city can have their orange crush,, both ways !!
