Good looking arsenal, that bayonet will come in handy if some zombies show up at the range.
If you are too busy to hunt , you are too busy.

Stalingrad is a great movie.  Rus. with english subs.  Two other really good one's are Generation War and Downfall, German/english subs.

Seems europe is making the quality of movies that used to come out of hollywood.

Still missing an m44 Sonny.  Ever find an enfield?  Just missed a 1916 St. Etienne yesterday   :(

The m44 and enfield are put on hold for the time being.

Three weeks ago I mailed in the paper work to upgrade my PAL to a RPAL so when I get it back in the mail I'll be shopping for a handgun.. ;D

I know you're thinking tokarev and I'm sure you'd be happy with that, thought I'd post a couple pics of an enfield just because I see SFRC has both the std and the tanker models right now.

Sorry for the second pic my camera is about dead and didn't autofocus.  Anyway, interesting history.  In a nutshell as I understand it, GB was producing the webley and Canada wanted to produce them, GB said no, Canada produced the Enfield No. 2 MK I.  Strangely enough it too is top break and has the same ejection mechanism.  It's almost like Canada brought a webley home and improved it.   8)
It's chambered in 38 S&W, think sort of a 38 short(but not 38short).   As I understand it the first thing guys did was find a Brit silly enough to exchange his webley chambered in 455MKII for their 38S&W enfield.  The tanker model is identical except the hammer spur is not present so no danger of catching it while climbing through hatches.
Not a powerful round, but accurate and easy to load.  All components and dies are easily available.
Like I said, wouldn't have plugged it except I see some are available and thought it may interest you.  The one pictured has literally every part incl. screwheads stamped with broad arrows.
Nice piece of Canadian history, although I have no idea how available loaded ammo is, I know fiochi makes it, any others?

To be fair, IMO as far as heading to the range and blasting a couple hundred rounds, a tokarev would be a better choice.  Plus, the tt33 will fit in nice with your other Russians.   ;)

Here's a pic of the No2MKI's father.  This one was carried by a Canadian soldier in the second Boer War.  Again, sorry for the second pic, without autofocus you have to look close to see all the broad arrow's.
Didn't know what you were getting yourself in for when you bought your first mosin, eh Sonny?   ;D  But that's fine.  It's important to remember our history and the more people have tactile items to pass on our history to our heirs the less chance the loony left has to pretend life is all rainbows and unicorns.

Too bad we don't live closer to each other, we could go shooting.   :)

That's exactly what I mean Sonny.  History becomes real if you research it, then touch a piece of it.

Yes, I enjoy shooting our historical guns, but that's only part of the reason I have them.
