Global Edmonton meteorologist Jesse Beyer said parts of western Alberta could see between 10 and 15 centimetres of snow, but some areas could see more than 20 centimetres by the end of Friday.

I get a kick out of the weather reports I get off my cell. Apparently, these days anything below -10 is extreme cold.

Maybe the new generation who never look up from their phones are getting softer, I kinda feel were being slowly programmed to be softer at every chance big brother gets.

Obviously I am not currently in the bush (no cell phone), but one of the best experiences one can have is hunting big game during a quiet no wind snowfall. Big Game all of sudden sit still...except for the horny ones.  As one quietly moves around you will see Moose standing under a tree, no more than 20 yards from you.  A bunch of Mulies will be hunched up in slough grass. An unhealthy looking satellite bull elk looking at you from 30 yards. Very exciting, yet very relaxing.
