I seldom get mad over little things but taking an ad out in the Western Star newspaper for all to see is low. As a gun club we should not be advertising are discrepancy’s in public gun clubs are like Air Ports and clear cut logging a not in my back yard attitude.
A friend of mine was recently at that range with me as my guest another user came up to him and asked where he was from he said out of town I am here with Jimmy. This man and his wife came over to me like a shot and were displaying there memberships cards and were concerned that there shooting was going to bother us. I was a little taken back and started asking questions telling them there is no problem what’s the big deal? Turns out they were from Red Deer and have been hearing about the hate of non-locals.
I have traveled all over Alberta BC Washington Ohio all for the purpose of shooting prod to say I am the member of 5 Gun clubs but I fear it maybe 4 if this keeps up.
