so is this a sign we are going to have a cold winter with lots of snow. might send the raccoons down by the Bow river in Calgary back to where they belong

There are rumours of an early long cold winter but we've heard it before and it didn't turn out that way. One thing for sure,, we will get a chance to see lol.

These early snows don't mean a thing IMHO. We had the same thing last year I think around this time and it was a warm winter. I think there is an old saying "We get so much winter every year but the only thing that changes is when we get it." For the most part I feel that's true. Only thing I know for sure is it's going to be great to be out hunting tommorow.
