So What Was Under The Tree.
« on: December 27, 2014, 08:19:58 AM »
Well lets here about all them new toys out there.

Wife got me the 50 years of James Bond Blue Ray gift set,,
A nice Remington drop point skinning knife.
The wife and kids all went in and got me a Lincoln 180 mig welder for the shop.
And I ended up with a couple more camo t- shirts and a $150 gift card to Cabelas from the bro inlaw.

Well I already posted a pic of my Ruger Blackhawk but I also got another Mosin Nagant for my collection.

This one is a 1930 hex receiver. The wood looks great and I'm sure someone refinished it at some time.

I picked it up for $235 at the Calgary shooting center, price might sound a bit high but it is a hex. ;)

Sonny , they are like potato chips , after the first one I was shocked how nice they were, I think they are a good ranch rifle. All mine are 1954 and in mint condition for their age.Unlike me.

Sonny, what would be a good price on a good SVT?

I paid $299 for mine 2 years ago but it seems that the price is creeping up.

Wholesale sports has them on sale right now for $289..reg $329..and I think that's a good deal.

They are a fun gun and ammo is cheap, even softpoint ammo is cheap.. ;)

Hey everyone! I do still check in on you all every once in a while :) My son and I both got bows for Christmas :D I've wanted to try archery for a few years now, and here's my chance. I got the Quest Bliss and Jarrett got the Quest Rogue. I'll have lot of opportunity to practice this winter so we'll see how it goes by next fall.
