Spring Break

Have a week off with the wife. Spring break.
Sitting in Toad River, northern BC tonite.
Going to hit the Liard hotsprings tomorrow.
Weather is nice. Clear skies and up to about 10C today.
Walked a bit this evening along Muncho Lake. Ice is sketchy with some open holes.
Saw a bunch of stone sheep, a moose, and a lynx today.

Thanks Axeman.
The Humpback Whale contours of the northern Rockies sure look good with some snow highlights.
Are you going to do the long circle route?

Very nice day up here!
Hit the hotsprings, had the place to ourselves this morning.
Went on a hike about a mile or more up a drainage and gained a bit of altitude.
Surprisingly little snow for end of March!
Saw a black wolf, tons more stone sheep, and 4 mountains goats today.

I’m not much of a hot tube guy(community bath with a bunch of people) but that one looks like my kind of deal. Looks like a nice trip, no people and bush.
Beats a resort in tropic land as far as I’m concerned.

Holy crow....so sad.
So much trouble in northern BC. Areas I have been to and know quite well.
Feel for those poor people dead and missing.
Some killer loser still on the loose. I sure they have a few leads to get him.

I curled once a week all winter against the Australian guy. He was working for one of the big ranches up at Hudson Hope where we were working for the past year. Seemed like a good guy.

Yep, another reason we should be able to pack a side arm on our hip. It may not save everyone, but better than pointing your finger.

The 2 BC boys that were considered missing before are now suspects and appear to be on the run. Meth heads I bet.
RCMP said Tuesday that Kam McLeod, 19, and Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, are suspected of shooting Australian Lucas Fowler, 23, and American Chynna Deese, 24. The couple's bodies were discovered along the side of the Alaska Highway south of a popular hot springs tourist destination on July 15.
It's believed they have left British Columbia and they have been spotted in northern Saskatchewan, according to the RCMP. They were last seen driving a grey 2011 Toyota RAV4 and Mounties said they may still be on the move.

When I looked at the missing guys pics and then the sketch of the suspect. I seen a resemblance to the mcleod kid and went hmmm. Old pic of kid, more of a beard in the sketch but similar face for sure. Now that suspicion is all over the news. The pieces of this tragedy fit better now.
Punks stage a robbery, mcleod goes in, other out of site in their truck/camper. Things go wrong, kills the two tourists. Take off, meet bearded guy down the road. Kill him, burn truck/camper, steal his suv.
Not hard to connect the dots. Crazy shit if true.

Let’s hope they resist arrest and the police have to use lethal force to take them down.

Tourists shot in the head last year, two killed this year. With Trud's "hug policy" Canada is becoming a dangerous place to visit. We should build a wall, it can be used to line up our own scum and shoot them.

What if these gentlemen drift into some farmer's yard while driving for freedom in Ontario. What is the farm family to do? Oh, call the police. I can't reach the RCMP after hours for a break in on the farm. Just another Dial 911 and die?

Did these two murderers paint themselves into a corner now in Gillam, Manitoba? That RAV4 they were in is now found burnt there.
Pretty sketchy details from RCMP. Two innocent guys were forced onto the gravel road face down and handcuffed by RCMP 325 west of Gillam last night , but released when they proved they were not the guys being searched for. I think RCMP feel they are in the area still.
If the 2 went into the bush to hide out, it won't be long until they surrender, kill themselves, or get shot by the RCMP. Hope they don't kidnap or kill anyone else in their desperation.

If they are hiding out in the bush around Gillam, those Manitoba black flies and their little buddies in the blood sucking business will have a hay day. Sort of like vermin eating varmints. Mind you, they are around the Gillam Injun Reserve. I wonder if they have friend's there?

Look how the Liberal media paints these "Two Nice Innocent Boy's into being victims. I guess the media calls my black flies sand flies. Is there a difference?
Seen at Meadow Lake. Yikes. That is pretty Close to Walleyes place.

Damn stupid kids....
Listening to Dad of the one kid of course makes you feel the tragedy of this, but one cannot put any of that ahead of the lives that they took away and those who cared and loved them.
Seems like some pretty messed upbringings of those two.
I doubt they will get of of this alive like the Dad said. And you know, they probably shouldn't because the 3 innocent people had their wonderful lives snatched from them by these 2 moronic kids. I feel for the three innocent victims and their families and friends. Excuses for the murderers are lame liberal bs.

So your parents get a divorce now you go on a killing spree cause your in pain, F that. Like you say Grey the Liberal funded and paid for media is already spinning them into the victims.
Like I said I hope they resist arrest and have to be taken down with force, then this is over.
And yes they were close to our place obviously had to pass by my place by a coupe miles to get to meadow lake.
You all remember that little mossberg I rigged up for momma this spring, it’s in the closet by the bed, cartridges in the sling ready to roll. Get passed the dog, meet the mossberg.
You just never know this day and age we have to be ready for everything.
