My thought was VC would take the cup, now I'm not so sure since the goaltending fell apart. When the Bruins won at home it was always by a 3 or 4 goal margin. Looking at the Canuk wins on their home ice, they're barely sqeeking through by 1 goal. That could just as well be the Bruins.

I wouldn't put money on tonight but I think who ever scores first gains the momentum and wins the cup.

Agreed 100% I think the first goal is important and will decide the outcome.

X3... Boston I think deserves it more. Any team that gives up completely in any game in the finals.. Regardless of the score doesn't deserve it in my mind. No your not going to come back from a 8-1 game ( highly unlikly) but you have to do your best to pull something positive out of games like those.

Go Bruins!  I hope the refs don't fall for the Canuck's pathetic diving routines tonite.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

I think both teams have been guilty of diving, maybe in favour of VC. The Sedins are bad for that. I'm sure ole Don Cherry is calling them every name in the book under his breath. He never did like the European players much and I bet it's hard for DC to contain himself on Coach's Corner when the diving is so apparent, as most of the Sedin cases.

Two more hours to game time!

Looking good for Boston.  Ole Don Cherry has lost it.  First the fruity pink flower suit and he was predicting a Canuck win before the game.  Where did his Boston team spirit go?  It looks like the refs are letting them play.

Ya Don was predicting a Canuk win along, well, he's wrong this time. I have no idea what happened to Van but what a time for the goaltending to fall apart. You can be a #1 goalie all season but if you're no good in the playoffs, your not much good to your team period. He should have had the 2 & 3rd goal for sure. It wasn't all Luongo though, the Sedins didn't show up neither.
I think you will see a bit of a shakeup on the VC team. Schneider might end up being their #1 goalie.....time will tell.

I was off by a day and goal or two, but I picked it right.  I was pretty sure of the outcome, I don't know why I didn't bet some money on it, probably because then the Bruins would have lost...

I heard an interesting stat from a friend - Zdeno Chara is only the third non Canadian born captain to hoist the Stanley Cup in its history, the other two were Brian Leetch for the Rangers and Nick Lidstrom for Detroit.
