Morin All,
Yesterday afternoon my van was stolen from my home. The dick head had stolen a another van which had broken down in front of my home so then he took my van.
I walked the neighborhood to see if it was close by. I then phoned Axeman and he volunteered to drive the area near my home and some of the more drug infested areas.
We then went to kingsway garden mall and spotted my van sitting in front of sears with the lights on. We then contacted police. While waiting for the gestpo to come we decided to stake out the van hoping the idiot would return. The police finally showed up and found lots of items including a large duffel bag with loaded with identification cards.
Axeman commented it was like finding a needle in the hay stack. Police reviewed camera shots in the parking lot. Some items he stole or bought were from sears and police will review there
tape of him walking in the store. The service from the police was a joke. They were slow to react and did not want to finger print the van.
I would like to thank Axeman for assisting in recovery of my wheels. He knew that the recovery of the van was important for my tackle business.  :)

Looks good on you Axeman, I'm glad you got your van back.

I hate pigs.  Oh I mean cops.

Justin, at times you contribute alot to the forum, when you come up with statements like so, I got to wonder about you. I have some good friends who are cops and the world would be a sad place without them.
Your not the only one who had to pay speeding tickets, I paid my share, still I wouldn't make a statement like you just did. Chances are if your not speeding you won't get a ticket.

Some people bad mouth cops but they're the first one's you call if your property or family are threatened.....Grow up!

I just can't believe we found the stolen van in about an hour.  I mean when you think about, finding one vehicle in an entire city, next to impossible.
I told Paul I just adapted my hunting skills to the city environment...... ;)  Thought of his van as a moose.   ;D  Kind of a let down, found the damn van, but I didn't get a chance to get some blood on my hands.

It would have been good to catch the thief but it didn't work out.  The police officer had zero interest in investigating anything and in my mind botched the opportunity to catch the guy.  I believe he would have come back to the van when the mall closed at 9 pm, especially with all his stuff still in it.  Mall cops were good guys though.  I think if the stakeout could have lasted another hour and the cop wouldn't have pulled up to the van in a fully marked cruiser, they might have had a shot at catching the thief.  This guy was a grade-A loser too.  Two stolen vehicles that we of and a duffle bag full of stolen ID cards and Visa cards.  The EPS cop told me that it was illegal for them to stake out a stolen vehicle.  I'm not kidding.  I laughed in his face.

Today the E.C.P contacted me that they have identified who the thief/drug user is. He was captured on video at Sears doing some shopping. He was so stupid to leave his packages in my van. Its like leaving a trail of bread crumbs. Thx again for Axeman helping me out.
