The Albino Moose Debacle
« on: October 12, 2013, 10:56:03 PM »
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2450896/Hunters-apologise-killing-rare-albino-moose-Canada.html

I find this a bit annoying, these guys harvested a moose, in an open season, legally, with a tag. Now they have to suck up over it. I mean to me an albino moose is a genetic anomaly, not a great spirit. As long as they eat the meat who cares. Sorry if I sound insensitive.

So, the question is, would you pull the trigger?

We were hunting the same area and would have no problem taking that moose. I saw another picture of that moose with the hunters and their guide ,who I believe is a native, Farmland Outfitters. He is the one on the left of the picture wearing a vest. Could be wrong?
If you are too busy to hunt , you are too busy.

The Big Pink “ Pink Mountain “   is a good place to look for white moose, while not common this is not that rare.

Some people are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

On both sides of the issue.

 The poll question lacks definition.

If I were the hunters in question here I would have apologized to the native group as I did not know it was a big deal to them.  But I would not have given up the animal.

Now that I know how they feel in N.S. I would not shoot an albino moose there but in Alberta they are different Natives and as far as I know it is only white buffalo they are keen on.  So here I'd love to shoot an albino.

Apologies for what,, killing an animal ? The Hindu regard cows as sacred,, do you phone one up and apologies every time you have a steak ??

It's just another BS call from these people. If they believe it to be sacred hey all they power to them but don't expect everyone else to share your ideals. If they were decent people they wouldn't even of said anything but hey they aren't,, they are bold suckers looking for attention and guaranteed some sort of compensation out of it all.

BLOOD SUCKERS..
