Agree AxeMan, if we had Harper in power and Trump in the US ,I think we would see both countries improve.

I think Harper would walk circles around Trump. I miss him and Ralph, but am scared scatless of Trump.

I wonder what would happen with NAFTA being scrutinized by a Trump administration.  Especially in eastern Canada.

Eastern Canada already sits at an advantage with outdated production facilities and a lower exchange rate to increase the revenue side of inefficient production.

Mr. Trump would claim this to be a unfair trade advantage just like cheap Mexican labour.

And he'd be correct in saying so.

Safe bet oil imports from the US's enemies would stop;  that'd be good for Canada.

Sure the libs here would squeal and stamp their feet as they seem hell bent on supporting Canada's enemies rather than their countrymen, and quite frankly that'd be good for Canada too.

Far as S. Ont. manufacturing, it died 30 yrs ago;  union demands killed it.  Only thing falsely keeping what's left (not much) going is free money from Western Canada;  which is about to stop, except of course when it soon comes time for central Canada's turn to pay the formula will need to be, "revisited".  Watch then and see how important W. Can. is to central Canada's liberals.

I thought it would be close , it really wasn't . The coverage was brutal
All US media were ready to drink the Kool Aid after the first results were known.
I was saying all along Trump would win , just to annoy my wife ....who knew ,
how clever I was . My generation are the first not to be Americans in the last 300'
Years . Who new how much the American public hated Hitlery . Between the House ,
Senate , and Presudency ,this is a good old fashion ass whipping .

My motto

" QUESTION ALL AUTHORITY "

  and media ....

Media's heads all exploded!
Satisfying to see Liberalism take a serious blow.

CBC was a complete disgrace with their coverage.  We have a problem in Canada and need a movement like is happening in the US now.
I think I see a rip in the social fabric, Brother can you spare some ammo?

I notice CNN called the election results a "Whitelash".  Good Grief ???

The only people that can be slandered these days are white christian males.

Best part of it all is seeing all the smug leftists having to eat crow, I love it.

Any hit to the Liberal/ Socialiist agenda is a good day in the country.

Yep, and to see their true colors when they protest and damage things. As long as they get their way, the world is a happy place. But when true democracy happens, they want to take their ball and go crying home. Time for them to understand, be a good looser, you don't get a Trophy for just showing up.

If you look at the numbers it was black and hispanic voters who switched sides and got Trump elected.

So much for, "whitelash", although, the white soccer mom vote  (who also voted against the dems for a change) didn't hurt.

Coolest part is if you look at the election results map beside the crime rate map of the US and guess what?  You win the cigar.  The area's who voted clinton are the area's responsible for the vast majority of violent crime in the US.  (you know, the area's with the strictest gun laws or outright bans).  Too bad the libs in Canada are incapable of learning anything.
