We all hunt for various reasons, some for trophy horns, some just for meat , some for both or either. I find after the hunt the work begins but the pay off is worth it.. Here the first batch of extruded jerky by myself and a couple buddy's . This batch was 42 lbs of ground deer(2 deer trimmings) ground , mixed up with seasoning and cure, mixed again after 12 hrs. Then rolled into the smoke house( litterly my buddy has a wicked smoker) and smoked at 180*F with hickory chips this time.
So far it's got thumbs up from all that gave it the taste test.
