Hi Everyone ,

My name is Nichole and I love the outdoors. I live in Alberta now but am originally from Florida.  I have been fishing my entire life and love it with all my heart !!  I married my husband ( a very avid hunter) eight years ago and started going with him on hunts around then.  Finally two years ago I decided to make it official and take hunters ed.  This last November I got my first deer.   I am completely hooked !! I never understood my husbands complete obsession with hunting but, I believe I am right there with him.  I think when you wake up in the middle of the night in the middle of March and look at your husband and start talking about the one that got away ....you might have an obsession...lol.  I hope there are other women that join.  I love meeting other women who like the outdoors as much as me !!

I personally think its great seeing women in the outdoors , its not just a guys game . I know my sister enjoys tagging along for  the odd fishing trip , but as of last year took interest in coming hunting with me . She says that she will only hunt birds because they are ugly , just not killing the cute deer . Well that's a start . I will keep bringing her along . I remember the first time 4 years ago when I shot my first deer she was with us . She was as excited as I was.

Hey Nichole,
I think there are more women who are enjoying the 'outdoors' like you and I --I don't hunt as hubby doesn't, but love game. Hubby is an avid fly fisherman and I am just learning to fly fish and am an addicted fly tyer! Love camping and wish we could camp more!
