Took My Baby To The Doctor.

After 3 years of looking at a nasty scratch on my baby I finally took it in to get fixed. Had the tide and wind swing me into a pier end at the coast 3 years ago that did nasty job on the paint and cut right into the aluminum. Had a tough time even finding a place to take it but after some convincing I got it into the body shop my son is doing his apprentiship at. After the paint was done my boy said it was a perfect match they were quite happy with it. Even took some filler to cover the gouge the pin stripe had to be removed in order to get the blend just right.

Looks like a great job! Same thing happened to mine a couple weeks ago at Newell. Thought I had it tied to the dock well with bumpers to, came back with truck and trailer and the back rope either came undone or got untied in the 5 min I was gone.

The baby should be good to go on Rock Island!!!!!  Maybe get a few more "goolyas" to fix.   Nice work, compliments to the individual who did it.
