Finished these two up late last night

 The first is a full tang clip point
 The handle is stabilized Yucatan Rosewood with red/white spacers




The second is a slim handle full tang design
 The handle is silverblack dymondwood with red/white spacers
 This knife was made for The Hunting Chronicles TV Show

Two nice pieces of work there.  Can you tell me what 'stabilized' means in this context?

stabilized woods are those that have been treated with acrylic resin under vacuum and pressure to make them more durable
