Today is/was Provincial hunting day. AHEIA and Hunting for Tomorrow hosted an event out at the Alfred Lake Center for Outdoor Education. Spent the day there with my 12 yr old daughter Hannah and my friend's 13 yr old son. We had a blast!
It was a family event, open to all ages (youngest this year was 8 ). The participants had the choice of 4 events from:
-Archey/Bowhunting
-Pistol shooting
-Small Bore shooting
-Big bore shooting
-Crossbow shooting
-Leather making
-Dreamcatcher making
-Bear Aware education
All I can say is a BIG thank you to all of the volunteers that took time out of their busy schedules to make an event like this happen!!
