Can anyone on here build a website or recommend someone who can. I don't want anything too professional just a place to advertise my GS dog boarding/breeding kennel. I would like to have control over it myself after it's developed.
Thx!

Tuc try godaddy.com for hosting, it's very cheap. They will also register a domain. As far as design well that's not as simple, but I think they have a built in website builder for basic stuff.

Thx BBJ, I'll check that one out too. Paul do you own a website with GoDaddy or know someone who does....are they satisfied with it? I see it's based out of the States and was thinking maybe I should look for something in Canada. Your thoughts?

Another question I forgot to ask. Do I have to buy a domain first or should I build the website first?

Built my website first , took me about a month of tweaking and adding and removing and moving and moving again , but to get the first initial set up depending how extensive you want to make your website it will take a day or so to get everything layed out , then there's the minor tweaking .

Then once I Had  it all set up , I bought the domain and bought my website .

I registered my domain name and built the website through webnames.ca

It was $75 for 1 year. The templates and software are very user friendly. I'm finding it a bit restrictive. I'm happy with the site, but I can see I will eventually want to be more creative with it than the software and templates allow.

I have about 50 domains registered with godaddy and host my business websites as well as hobby sites there. I used a heavily modified version of wordpress for the back end on most of my sites. One site I have there is the fly fishing site I own with Mike Monteith, John Kent and Rob Viala. www.flyfishcentral.net is the domain.
