What do you think?

From the Sask Hunting and Trapping Guide................

"It is a violation to use salt or salt products for bait
unless placed in a leak-proof
container that is secured in such
a way to prevent the contents from being spilled."

As most of you know it is legal to bait here in Sk. Last year they implemented this new law. This has to be one of the un-though out rules yet. What do you think the hunters will do after a rain, naturally empty these containers on the ground. They sure won't siphon it in a jug and take it out with them. Can you imagine how this will litter up the bush with plastic containers all cracked to hell after they freeze (seen them already) and containers that will just be left there and not picked up after the hunting seasons are over. Dumb!

Makes you wonder what the reasoning behind some laws are doesn't it. There is nothing in any mineral block that isn't in the ground already anyways.. Just nonsense.

Only law on public land.
