Wildfires in the CLAWR!!

How close to these are you Terry?  We are told that they have evacuated the people from the range.  Too bad a water bomber crashed yesterday, killing the pilot while fighting the fire and starting the present fire.  We have been informed that the fire is about an hour away from LLB!!!!  We could have an experiment later today or tomorrow, depending on the winds.

They are a bit always from us yet,, bout 15 - 20 miles.. Pretty smokey at home the wife says, hopefully the wind stays in our favour. Some of my buildings are pretty close to cover so I hope it doesn't get to close.

It has been so windy in the afternoon. We need some rain for sure.

Our middle son is a Power Eng for MEG Energy up at their Christina Lake operation. Last night they evacuated all non ecentual personel. He had to stay at the plant along with a hand full of others. They are putting in some long hours keeping an eye on stuff.

The wife sent me these pics last night. The wind has changed in our favor for now anyways. Its so dry around home we need rain badly, even the lawn is struggling to come around this year.

These pics are looking out our front window over the field. first one is from 2 nights ago and then one from last night. Quite the difference. The pics are taken at the same time of evening.
