I just wanted everybody to know about a raffle that is being put on by the Horizon Parent Society out of Sundre. This was posted on another site, but we need to get the word out. It is for a great bunch of special needs kids.

DROP CAMP RAFFLE
RULES AND REGULATIONS
1.1 prize will be awarded to the winning ticket and will include the following;
- 2 way horse and wagon transportation into and out of the Eagle’s Nest area of the Willmore Wilderness located in Alberta Canada (an alternate location can be discussed with prize provider and arrangements may be made provided it is suitable for delivery of the prize)
- Transportation will begin at the Rock Lake staging area and be provided for 2 persons along with their camping/hunting gear which will not exceed 600 lbs..
-In the event pack horses need to be utilized in lieu of team and wagon (due to trail or weather conditions) a 450 lb. maximum will be in effect for camping/hunting gear.
- Additionally, a 10x12 Capital Canvas standard wall tent and frame will be awarded along with the trip.
2. Draw date will be June 8th, 2012 at noon and will be done so in the presence of at least 1 Horizon Parent Society board member and 2 witnesses. The first ticket drawn will be the winner, the second and third tickets drawn will be alternates (in that order) in the case the prize winner does not contact the Horizon Parent Society by July 1, 2012. Ken Musselman will not be making the draw to avoid conflict of interest.
3. No member or immediate family of a member of the Horizon Parent Society will be eligible for ticket purchase.
4. Tickets and the prize can only be sold and awarded to individuals 18 years and older.
5. Prize must be utilized between August 20th and November 1 2012.
September 22 – October 2, 2012 are not available dates for trip.
6. The signing of a waiver of all liability for loss or injury will be required in order to claim prize.
7. 400 tickets at a cost of $25/ticket will be made available for this raffle.
8. The winning prize has no cash value.
9. The prize may be transferred to another recipient but no compensation may be received for this transfer.
10. Ticket stub must be presented to claim prize.
