Canada/USA

What a game.  They figure it is a preview of the gold mettle final.  I hope that game is just as exciting.  And the outcome is the same.

Some of those canadian girls are pretty cute.  But I don't know if I would want to go into the corner with any of them.

My second favourite hockey team is about to hit the ice.

I really like to watch the women's team play.

But the men's team has mostly really talented players and not many "goons" from the NHL.

I thought I was getting an "olympic break" from Don the Cherry but I see he his there to rant and rave.

I don't believe Austria should be much of a problem for the Canadians.  However the team cannot have that same attitude.  It is a good opportunity
for the team to "jell" some more and to work on getting power play and penalty kill sharp.  If they cannot find success on a power play against Austria how will they do so against Sweden, Russia etc.

Scoring from all lines and the D-men, would be desirable.

Canada and China men's curling.  The Cinese are 6and 1 and showing why in this game.  They are coached by a Canadian traitor.  And shooting very well.

Yeah, that was an entertaining curling game for sure.
If it wasn't for Jacobs himself making some great shots, China would have beat them.

Hopefully Jennifer keeps her role going,, she has been the most dominant we have, not only in curling but the most dominant Canadian at the games by far..  Well I guess that's a stretch the girls hockey team is right there as well..

Go girls..

So Jennifer makes it through to the gold medal game garunteed at least a silver medal,, good for them.. If they keep their play up it looks really good for them.

Watching Mens hockey Finland vs Russ now,, Finland is giving them a run,, there will be a country full of angry people if Russ doesn't even make the medals lol..

That was a heck of a game. I couldn't believe how well Latvia did,, I was like who in the heck is Latvia to give the boys such a hard time. It wasn't that Canada didn't do well, they handled them but that young goalie was hot.. I forget how it was the announcers put it something to the fact of,, "this kid plays in the AHL and he is stopping 149 million dollars worth of hockey players",, he was pretty darn good.

They are going to have a contest against the US though..

Heck of a game for sure!
I had a chance to watch it and it was epic.

The Canadian girls beat the faster USA team with one thing......pure heart and grit and the will to win.
A big shout out has to go to Shannon Szabados, the Canadian goalie, who kept them in it when the USA pressured hard.

Let's see if the Canadian men have this kind of heart in their final.
