Years ago I was having a beer at the old Riviera hotel on the corner of Franklin and King st... It's gone now as you know.Anyway this guy asked me where I was from.
Told him that I'm from Hinton..His reply was..

We had about 20 people show up and the response from the public was great.

Did have two guys give us the finger and they both had BC plates.lol

I would say they were southern BC people because the northern folk are pretty awesome people, no different than being in Nisku when your up north.

Had a little showing in cold lake today as well, I'd say about 30 people were out. Kind of pointless in Cold Lake though lol, like no shit we all support the oil industry, oh well still good to see people making a point.

Oh yes I have. They still hide out at the top of the east hill, and just below that hill before the Parks Gate. They just have yellow legs these days, and have GRC (Gravel Road Cop) written on the cruiser.

I am just too old too change a favourite term of a bunch of geezers who used to drive the then Death Highway of Alberta.

Highway 63 has now taken over that term. "Pray for Me, I drive 63.

Today’s yellow vest rally in Hinton only had four of us show up but the response from the people driving by was great. Lots of honking and waving going on.
Also had folks stopping by and giving us coffees.
