Young gun gets his first compound
« on: November 24, 2011, 07:36:17 PM »
My 10 year old old son (Young Gun) saved his pennies for 1/2 (or close to) for his first compound. Picked up a Mission Craze. Looks to be a sweet first bow! This is a VERY proud kid (and dad). The rabbits better beware this winter!  :)

Just picked my oldest a bow up to give him on his 12th B-day on Dec. 7. Hope it works well. I picked up a Diamond Razors Edge.  Good to see the young guys getting into Archery early.

I hunt sheep to see over the next mountain not to measure the next trophy!

It's a good family sport allright! If they learn how to bowhunt well first, they should be pretty good hunters all around.

He's hounding me to set up a target in the shop this weekend so our shooting is not weather dependant. Red Deer Archery Center is another good bet to fling a few arrows and beat the winter blues.
